Our client offers a range of business services to a multinational, SME client base and will shortly be receiving significant private equity funding. The CEO is seeking a CFO to partner him and other key shareholders to help lead the business on a buy and build strategy over the next few years, culminating in a successful exit for all stakeholders. This is a Board position thus the successful candidate will be expected to add strategic value at a senior level and must demonstrate previous experience of working with private equity investors. However, as the business is currently sub £20m revenue, the CFO will also be required to be both willing and able to manage all aspects of the finance function including ensuring that robust systems, processes and controls are established to underpin the anticipated growth via acquisitions. Ideal candidates for this role should have previous experience in both a fast growth privately owned business as well as considerable M&A activity to include leading an exit – preferably with private equity shareholders. This role should appeal to an experienced CFO who is seeking a new challenge and is able to demonstrate credibility and gravitas at a senior level but who is also excited by the prospect of a fast paced, operationally “hands on” role at the helm of a rapidly growing international business with a secure blue-chip client base.

We are committed to encouraging and celebrating applicants from different backgrounds, whatever their gender, ethnicity, race, religious and political beliefs, education, socioeconomic background, disability, sexual orientation and geographical location to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
