A need has arisen for a Welder to join the team based at our Solihull Head Office on a permanent, full-time basis.
The role will include:
Working in the tank house manufacturing our tankers
Welding in both Mild Steel and Stainless Steel
Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
Adhering, and working, to Health and Safety regulation
Full training will be given to the right individual
Skills and Experience:
Background working in a production environment is an advantage
Forklift truck and overhead crane licence an advantage
Mild Steel and Stainless Steel Fluxcord Mig welding experience is essential
Experience in both light and heavy gauge welding is desirable
Pipe welding experience is desirable
Ability to weld thickness 4mm – 10mm
Ability to read drawings
Ability to use your own initiative
Fabrication and fitting skills is desirable
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to pass multiple welder qualifications in various materials
